Bajel Projects Limited (BPL) designs and manufactures a wide range of transmission, distribution poles including single poles, twin poles, and special structures like cable termination poles, three poles or quad structures. In addition, we provide a variety of tubular substation structures from 11 kV to 765 kV.
Our specialty structures are pre-fit by skilled fabricators before shipment to assure correct fit during field installation. They are manufactured with an emphasis on quality and ease of installation. Our distribution class poles are manufactured in accordance with numerous international standards and meet the criteria of those who select a "PCC/wood pole equivalent" structure.
BPL is well suited to projects that call for complex engineering with a high standard of quality because of its skilled workforce and highly automated equipment. We offer a variety of foundation alternatives to assure the lowest installation cost solutions. These include anchor-based, direct-embed, and caisson as specified by foundation requirements.

Monopoles, which have historically been used in the US and Europe, are becoming more prevalent in India. This is due to monopoles having distinct advantages over lattice towers including less space utilisation, faster construction, quicker delivery, and more.
Monopoles are also more environmentally friendly because they have a smaller base installation area even when erected above 40 to 50 metres.
Bajel Projects Limited (Erstwhile Bajaj Electricals Limited – EPC division) was the 1st in India to design, manufacture, test, and build steel monopoles. The first such installation of 400 kV double-circuit monopole-based transmission line in India was commissioned for Power Grid Corporation of India Limited's project from Dadri to Ballabhgarh way back in 2006. The UPPTCL-400 kV Noida Project is another significant project in which BPL (erstwhile Bajaj Electricals) demonstrated its capabilities. In Noida, we executed India's largest 400 kV monopole project for UPPTCL.
BPL is the only EPC company in India that is ISO 45001 and ISO 140001 certified for all the project sites.
